I’m an engineering student, and was wondering if internships ask to see transcripts when deciding between students or if they usually just base it off of resumes and interviews.
Yes, some do. My D applied for internships that required transcripts as part of the application process.
Some companies will ask for your transcript (some companies ask for a transcript after you are offered an internship and if it doesn’t match the resume an offer could be rescinded).
Yes, several places my children applied to did ask for it, either before or after the interview. All asked for GPA.
Many internships require a 3.0 GPA in order to get an interview.
