Do ivy adm officers already start evaluating the applications?

<p>Hi, I submitted my application form by the deadline
but I mailed my "updated resume" four days later
and, i don't want admn officers to read my original resume
I am wondering whether they will read my original resume
before the updated one. </p>

<p>Does the admission process usually work in the way
that ppl read whatever stuff they get and start reading?
or pile them all together and read them when
everyone else's is pretty much recieved (meaning the middle or end of Jan)?</p>

<p>i'm not gonna pretend i know exactly what goes on at admissions offices, but i think it's safe to assume they don't start reading apps for a while...imagine the massive inflow of recs, part I's, part II's, counselor reports they get all at once, then have to consolidate as some parts are online and some paper...i think it will be a good while before any actual 'reading' gets done due to the massive organizational task presented by organizing 20,000 applications arriving bit by bit</p>
