So our semester just ended today and it was out first year having finals and all I can say is that kids at my school are a bunch of cheaters. From the top ranked kids too afraid to get a single bad grade to the ones who sleeped through the whole class but don’t want to lose their lunchpass privlages. I was so close to punching a kid in my computer science class who just downloaded something and passed it off as his own, but was talking to the teacher like he worked it for hours. What’s it like at your schools?
Don’t worry about them. Do you.
Oh yeah, kids cheat all the time. Not saying it’s right, but it’s common. And I agree with the person above, just focus on yourself. It’s not worth it worrying about others. But this guy in my school got a scholarship to GT for playing a sport, that kid cheats all the time. He was in my SAT testing location and was bragging about having his phone out and cheating. I’m not surprised. My school is known for football, practically one of the best in the nation, and once the whole class looked up answers online during a test, and the teacher literally said he won’t punish the football players because of committing season. lol, I never told. it’s just annoying but whatever. People who take cheating to the max won’t get anywhere if they continue to cheat.
RT to the comments above. Cheating is rampant at my school. People skip tests and then get the answers from their friends, download answers online, ect. The “funniest” cheating incident is when my physics teacher saw a girl doing a worksheet. He was like “Where did you get that??”, and the girl replied that she got it from a friend. We took a quiz, and we realized that it was the same worksheet. :-S
Like I know that we’re suppossed to worry about ourselves, but it’s seriously upsetting especially with teachers always looking the other. Some teachers at my school do care though, if they see it they get mad but they just look the other way reguarding rumors and stuff
Yes, I know somebody who cheated on the SAT and got a 1590. It sucks, but they will learn their lesson in the future. I truly feel bad for cheaters, since they dont have the self confidence to believe in themselves.
@peachypo101 Really? How do you cheat on the SAT?
@Fishnlines29 It was taken at a college lecture hall. So the back desks were higher than the ones in the front. It was pretty easy to look over and see the answers of the person’s in front of you.
Must have had better eyesight than I ever had – and blind faith that the person in front was smart.
That’s risky business, same set of answers often results in a red flag to college board.
if people cheat and have chance of getting caught thats their problem
if you are jealous of people getting good grades by cheating and you are too afraid to cheat yourself thats your problem
I go to a religious school and I haven’t seen cheating. I’m sure there is the isolated case, but it’s not really a problem in general. My school emphasizes honesty and anyone that cheats would be dealt with strictly.
@maxim2001 I not jealous lol. I have the best grades in my school. I won’t cheat because I know it’s intellectually dishonest, and people will do whatever they want but it’s normal for someone to feel frustrated when they see others getting results they didn’t work for.
A lot of people at my school cheat a lot, and they even try to cheat off me but I don’t let them. An example is in my science class NO ONE does the homework, but they just copy the answers off people. It’s unfair for people who do the work to have people not do the work, but I know that it will come back to bite them in the butt in the future, so I just smile and nod.
