<p>Most people have Verizon because you can get service almost everywhere on campus. I remember people getting service even in the elevators with Verizon. I have att because of the Iphone, which is good but not as good as Verizon. Therefore I would say that Verizon is the most popular followed at&t. I would get unlimited texting b/c I doubt you will be speaking a lot on the phone with people since you practically live with them.</p>

<p>keep in mind, once the new ATT tower is complete, the service from them is going to be far better than what it might have been in the past. So, you really can’t look at how it was, but how is it going to be. No way to really tell until the tower is done.</p>
<p>So, the bigger question is. When will the new ATT tower be done?</p>

<p>The ATT tower is scheduled to be done late this summer. Theyre going to put a tower on Bradfield and also Donlon.</p>

<p>I think that definately in the past, more people have used verizon because of the excellent coverage on campus. I think this question has been asked and answered in other threads.</p>
<p>However, going forward. Since ATT has the iphone and verizon doesn’t and with the new ATT towers going up, Verizon will no longer have the advantage of having better coverage.</p>
<p>theyre about equal in usage… verizon is getting the pre and a new blackberry soon and is in talks to get the iphone in the next year. </p>
<p>i personally think verizon customer service is best, but if you plan on going abroad get att so you dont have to buy a new phone when you move there.</p>
