Do most colleges have all the courses necessary for medical/dental schools?

for example if a dental school wants:
English composition
Biology
Microbiology
Physics
Chemistry
inorganic chemistry
organic chemistry
biochemistry
psychology
sociolgy

will most if not all state/big colleges have these courses?
How about LAC and smaller schools?

The answer is yes.
But you can always verify each school’s complete course offerings online.

Essentially, yes.

Heck, most decent community colleges have all of these too!

You’ve got lots of good options. Just be sure to read the complete course list as katliamom suggests.

Good luck!

Most schools offer the classes, but the trick is to take all of the classes that particular schools want. My kid is applying to pharmacy schools, and there’s are surprising discrepancies in the pre-reqs at schools. Several want a speech class, but differ on the type of class that they want. Some want biochemistry and some don’t. Some want a religion class, or microbiology. Some want a diversity class, and some want English credits. It can get pretty confusing, and it looks like the prereqs do change along the line. I suggest that you keep an eye on the prereqs at schools you’re considering now and check again each year. In the unlikely event they add a class that your school doesn’t offer, you can always pick it up in a summer program somewhere else.
