well, do they?

I heard that whatever school you are accepted at and decide to attend sees a copy of your final transcript.

Most do require it once you've been admitted and accepted the offer. Too many failing grades can result in the school rescinding your admission.

Every college I am aware of requires you to have your high school provide a final transcript as a condition to being able to start college in the fall.

Your acceptance letter makes it clear that the acceptance is conditional and you need to maintain your performance level. So it is obvious they want to take a look at your transcript before letting you in.
Antother point: In our highschool, once we request our transcript in october/november for the application, all the subsquent term reports and final transcripts are sent to the University automatically and free of cost (we don't need to give any more stamps). I guess many high schools do similar things.
Our GC even told us that if we purposely slack off, he may work towards getting our admission cancelled!!!

Now I have all A's and if in the end of the year my grades will come down by one grade (all B's) is there a risk that my admission will be canceled?

DOLO - No, but why slack off? High school should prepare you for college. Slacking off for a semester might cause you to develop bad habits that you don't want to carry with you.

Yes I know, I'm not going to slack off. I was just wondering if something happens...... :) thanks
