I havent gotten my PSAT results back yet, so i dont know how well i did on those. Im pretty sure im gonna get the honors physics award this year, perhaps honors chemistry too, and honors algebra/trig if i do good enough the rest of the year to make up for the couple of bad quizes and tests ive gotten lately. As far as community service goes, all ive done so far is helped a bit with cleaning up my school, but ive recently volunteered to help program a database at a library, so that might count for something. Next year, i will try to take as many ap and honors as possible again, and either 3 sciences or 2 maths. There are a few competitions i plan on participating in that i might win awards for; JETS, Mu Alpha Theta(which ill prbly be able to join next year), and a computer programming competition. I have also been nominated at my school for the Virginia Governor's School math science and technology summer program, so ill hopefully get into that. Im also gonna try to sign up for the NASA SHARP program, a summer internship at NASA. So what do yall think? Given that ill get into those few extra clubs next year and win awards for each of the competitions, is this good enough or do i still need more?
