No, I'd say it's obvious you like science/medical field.

Narcissa,

How many posts on College Confidential do you need to make before you realize that you're destined for community college? Maybe if you do well enough there you can think about transferring to a top 100 university.

Regards,

cookietime

thanks
i play tennis for fun i guess

oh and cookietime: gosh but college confidential is so addicting like drugs woot

This makes me think that either your role as president for all these clubs is very filler and only-for-the-title or you seriously don't sleep. At all. Do you take pills or something?

(jk...sort of. lol)

hm, so would not mentioning some of them be more beneficial or less beneficial?

just be truthful.

in my humble opinion, colleges don't really care what experiences you have outside of the classroom. they just want to know that a)you're having those experiences and b)getting something out of them. (you communicate you're getting something out of them through recs, and essays.)

looking at your list, it certainly seems that you like science.

we don't really know your motivation to do all of your activities. You're motivation is why a collge would accept you.

show don't tell, show don't tell, show don't tell. <<that's the best piece of advice i've ever received about college admissions and writing in general.

i got a little off topic, sorry.

You're quite the prolific poster so I'm sure you know by now the dangers of a laundry list. I've seen your EC's (essentially) so you have quite a few good EC's- but the danger of trying to put in everything you do without making it seem like you're trying to cram in everything is you run the risk of peppering the list with insignificant/redundant EC's that diminish the overall strength and focus of your application- despite a pointed and quite blatantly obvious investment in the science/math field. I would suggest that you choose between clubs like 'Health Club' and 'Premed Club'. Use your own common sense! It would perhaps be in your best interest to interlope the activities- that is, if you list Premed Club, you could list significant things you did with that club but also include activities/fundraisers/etc that you liked from the Health Club since they are relatively similar or come across as quite similar. Seriously, you know the answer to this! Common sense, honey!

And I know, CC is sooo addicting. I spend all my time here! LOL. I should be prepping for my EC's, school and other stuff though....haha

I wish I could just apply for college like NOW! I feel like I know too much about it and I am just waiting anxiously for the moment to arrive...a few months...ughh!!
