Do my stats absolutely suck?

<p>I am currently a Junior, and the end of the first quarter is almost here. My gpa is as follows
Freshman Year: 3.33 Sophmore Year: 3.33.</p>

<p>I know that is really low but my first quarter results in junior year will give me a 3.85. The funny thing is i am taking AP BIO, AP Physics, and AP French junior year, but have not taken any Ap's previously. I am actually getting a higher Gpa taking harder classes.</p>

<p>I was wondering if i continue this until i graduate, will I have chances at any of the uni's i want to get into. My intended major is either economics or busniess related. </p>

<p>I want to go to the UC's (UCLA reach?), USC, Tufts, Boston University, or any of that sort. I just need a guileless, honost response.</p>

<p>I have participated in MUN (Model UN) in my school for all three years, and also have participated in Saisa Math Club. 40 Community service hours also because it is a requirement in our school</p>

<p>Sat score total - 2210
Math - 800
Reading - 650
Writing- 760</p>

<p>You have a B average, and an SAT of 2210. You should avoid saying that stats like that “suck,” because they’re quite good compared to many, many students. If you raise your cumulative GPA to 3.85 (if that’s what you mean), you will have a reasonable shot at the schools you’ve listed (assuming you live in California).</p>

<p>^Agree. No suckage here. Also, many colleges disregard or discount freshman grades, and you are showing an upward trend.</p>
