I know uMich doesn’t accept online courses but does anyone know if USC, UNC, Syracuse, Vandy, etc have similar rules?
Depends if the classes are accredited or not, but I don’t think most schools will take it. If it was an online class for an online for profit College, then it definitely won’t be accepted anywhere
When I transferred two online classes they were accepted, but they were both “hybrid,” so it combined online and in-person work. Typically you have to fill out a form and submit a syllabus for the class. Each school has a particular policy. My old school would take online history classes, but not online English classes. It is a weird case-by-case thing.
Do you go to Richmond?! That’s one of the schools I was planning on applying to haha which classes did you transfer? Western history and stuff? And okay I’ll look into it with each individual school some more , thanks
@sab002 Yeah I’m transferring there in the Fall, but I haven’t transferred anything yet. I was talking about my other school too. Richmond typically doesn’t accept online classes though.
