<p>Always interesting to learn more about others’ cultures, even if the other culture is another state</p>
<p>I read my friend’s research paper in English yesterday and he made a point of putting sat words in it, but it got a bit repetitive and I pointed out stuff that didn’t make sense.</p>
<p>^I had an amazing 4th grade teacher who used an AP Euro Textbook and an SAT Vocab book [Hot Words for the SAT, highly recommend] to teach us. She was good because she taught us the syntax.</p>
<p>Lol in my school, three quarters of the student body wouldnt come close to a 1700 on the sat. The other quarter? +2200</p>
<p>People found and knew it was me on here.</p>
<p>Oh dear god, I hope not. Even the thought of an IRL person discovering me on here sends a ghastly feeling washing over me.</p>
<p>^Same here, and that actually happened to me at another messageboard, which was pretty embarrassing. I doubt anyone I’m friends with would actually join CC, but if they did, I think they’d be able to recognize me pretty easily, which would be horrible.</p>
<p>I post at CC at my school pretty much everyday, usually when I first arrive at 7:15 and/or at lunch, which is some time between 11:35 AM and 1:10 PM. Now that I think about it, I remember logging in from Chrome once, and I noticed that there was another username listed in the area where I log in. The person had never posted before so I couldn’t figure it out who it was. So, actually, there are two people I know that are registered at CC; one identified, one mystery.</p>
<p>Nobody knows I’m on here from my school. I don’t go on it at school because I don’t want anybody to catch a glimpse of this damning site.</p>
<p>I’m sure people go on it from my school though, probably just to lurk.</p>
<p>God this site has such a bad rep.</p>
<p>No one knows I’m on here. Doubt many go on it from my school…I can think of 10 people who might but I doubt it.</p>
<p>I actually secretly go on this at school when we’re supposed to be doing our research paper in English. People are asking what I’m on and I just say nothing.</p>
<p>There probably are from my school cause one of my teachers suggested getting an account here to help with the college search. This was after I had already made my account</p>
<p>@Secoja: I do that too. When a teacher/student walks by or looks at my computer screen, I furiously attempt to minimize the page or switch to a new tab, so no one knows I’m here.</p>

<p>My college counselors tell us to avoid it because they say it has many uninformed people, which it partly true. And they need to keep their jobs.</p>

Haha I make my page really small next to a half-finished Word document so it looks like I’m doing research and typing my already-finished paper. But in reality I’m loafing around on CC.</p>
