Do people ever get rescinded of admission decisions for...?

Hi,

I have this issue with my community service requirement (private school)

So I have a lot of my service hours due early next week.

If I fail to complete, my school will put a fail grade on "Christian Service" on my final transcript that will be sent to my colleges.

It seems very difficult to complete the requirement at this point and I am considering just not doing them...

I have completed all my service hours requirement prior to this semester(my final one).

Would it affect my final admission decision because of one failing grade on "Christian Service?"

I kind of doubt that it will but am worried a little too.

Anyone with similar experience or any insight?

Please Help!

My understanding is admission to UT is based on the grades received when you applied. They would consider rescinding admission only if you didn’t graduate from high school.

@lisiatc I can still graduate fine. So do you think UT cares less about one “fail” grade-regardless of it being “Christian Service”-in determining final FINAL decision later in June/July? and Thanks for your input.

I thought you were accepted now. If so, you just need to send in your final transcript by the time classes begin in the fall.

Failing a class, regardless of class, will raise a red flag. You don’t want to risk getting your admissions rescinded/being out on probation. As long as it’s a passing grade though, it should be fine.
