Do PLAN scores correlate with ACT scores

For those of you who have taken PLAN and ACT or who have kids who have taken both, do the scores correlate? S scored well on PLAN (98% composite) and said it was easy. We hadn't considered ACT before, but will probably do the June test just for practice to get a feel for how well he might do. Any thoughts?

Not really. My plan predicted my range was 28-32 on the ACT, and my last two tests have been 33 and 34. I know the PLAN says it considers progression from sophmore to junior year, but I don't think it does (not very effectively, anyway).

My predicted range was 26-30, and I got a 34 on April 8th, so don't worry about it.

My Predicted was 24-28 and i got a 28 first try. So aim high

Predicted was 32-34. First try 35.

my predicted was a 24-26 and i got a 26 the first time i took it, and a 33 the second time

You jumped from a 26 to a 33? What did you do?

My predicted score range was 28-32 and I got 33.

my predicted score was 29-33 and i got 34

predicted: 25-29
actual:31 (hopefully a 33 though w/ the april test...oh well...we'll see...)

hell no. Studying actually does help. This is interesting because it showed up SO obviously on my tests.

The first time I took the ACT's I didnt' really study much. I would always start a test, then get bored after the english section.

Proctored practice test:

35 english
33 math
33 reading
31 science

yeah i don't htink your plan has a large effect on act. my predicted range for plan was embarrassing....it was around 25-29, but i got a 33 composite in april without studying...so don't worry about it.

My PLAN projected score was 33-35, and I ended up with a 34, so it projected correctly for me.
