Columbia is one of my top two colleges and I don't want to miss anything that could give me an edge, no matter how minor. I don't have any legacy in terms of undergraduate or grad studies, but my dad did his postdoc work for chemistry at Columbia and I was wondering if that is acceptable to put on the common app supplement. I'm confused as to which school to select (and degree) if I do put it, though. Thanks!!

“Legacy” status at Columbia is only for children of CC or SEAS graduates.

Thanks neiro! Guess I’ll just go focus on my short essays then :)
