Do SAT 2s matter much?

With an ACT score of 30, would 800 on two of the SAT 2s (Physics and Mathematics 2) make up for it for universities like UCLA, UC BERKELEY, MICHIGAN ANN ARBOR, CMU, UCHICAGO? (international student)

I'm involved in everything at school with about 20 awards in sports and academics.
I work for 4 NGOs - 2 of my own
Loads of extracurriculars including photography, student council, horse riding, numismatics, MUN, movie making, dance and more
President of 3 committees and vice president of 2, vice captain of the varsity tennis team

GPA = 3.93
IB predicted = 41/45
AP: Microeconomics = 5/5 Macroeconomics = 4/5

Replies are greatly appreciated, I'm gonna do the Early applications. Feel free to inbox. :)

most of the schools you mentioned do not offer financial aid for international students. You know that, right?

yes, many high level schools like that do look into SAT subject test scores, so I strongly advise taking an SAT subject test.

@Phongtheho - yeah, I know. I don’t need financial aid anyway.

@embrunn - so would I’ve a good change in these schools?

what was your UW gpa? plus what is your course load :slight_smile:

What’s a UW? I’m doing the IB. the GPA is nearly a 3.9 and was a 3.93 in Year 9 and 10.

I think U of Chicago is a reach but other than that they sound like matches or low reaches :)
