I’m applying regular decision, and I’d consider BU a low reach of mine. I took 2 subject tests this month and I’m guessing the scores should come out within the next week. I’m really nervous about what scores I will get. I took Lit. and Math 1, which I just found out are sometimes considered the “easy ones” and so they’re frowned upon?!?!

Does BU consider these scores with just as much worth as the SAT 1’s? Or is it just one of those things to cut down the amounth of applications they get?

They do consider them. What I would have advised you to do is to take the ACT. Because for most of the Colleges they require the SAT 1 and 2 Subject Test or just the ACT.

Q: I didn’t take the SAT Subject Tests; what can I do?
A: The only thing that can replace the SAT Subject Tests is the ACT with Writing test. If you have not taken the SAT Subject Tests, or the ACT with Writing, your application will still receive a complete review by the Board of Admissions; however, it may be less competitive in comparison with students who have completed our application requirements.

you have to take either two subject test or the ACT with writing to get accepted into CAS or any other BU school expect the college of general studies (CGS). if you didn’t take subject test or the ACT with writing then you will only be considered for CGS. sounds like you’re fine though.

I just contacted BU Admissions, and they take Jan SAT scores.

But the thing I’m wondering is that I currently have a SAT Subject Math level 1 , and if I took the SAT Math level 2c, would it cancel the first Math level 1 score? Or can I send both SAT Subject math scores?
