I was accepted to BU the other day, but I’m hoping for a merit scholarship. Can’t see any info on my portal aside from my acceptance, would a scholarship show up there or would it only come by mail? (I’m an international student so it would take a while to get here)
It would show up there under a tab that said “Merit Award Decision”.
Mine appeared under the Decisions tab in a tab named “Financial assistance”
My D’s also appeared under the “Financial assistance” tab. D rec’d both merit and financial aid; perhaps those who have “Merit Award Decision” tabs do not qualify for need-based FA (by BU’s calculations)?
Cheers. My financial assistance tab just says international students are unable to view their financial assistance progress online, so I guess if I do get anything I’ll have to wait for the post.

I’m an international student and was awarded the presidential award. I could see it under financial assistance tab!
Yeah I figured no aid for me. Oh well 15k from Northeastern is a good alternative!
