<p>They do care.Especially the Ivy League Schools
Most colleges only require you to meet their minimum
on Math and Reading Section</p>

<p>Yes! of course they care about the writing portion. Some studies say that the writing section of the SAT is an accurate indicator of success in college. Its 2009 buddy, The SAT is out of 2400.</p>
