All I ever see are the GPAs or SATs etc of admitted students. I would guess that most schools have a much lower average for their attending students vs admitted students. Is this info available anywhere?

how many people accepted their spot at a college out of all the accepted students is known as yield.

Yes - look at the school’s Common Data Set. It will show the Freshman Profile, including their test scores and GPA/class rank information.

Actually, I believe you have that backwards.

Most SATs/GPAs shown are those who are ATTENDING. NOT those who are ADMITTED.

American U reports its data for both. It’s in their Office of Institutional Research databook.

In looking closer I see that a few sites (eg About.com) list the data as “admitted” students, then in the body of the info explain that it is “enrolled” students. The site I was using (**************- now Parchment) uses “admitted students” data. Thanks
