I'm a transfer student that is currently at a community college. I am planning to apply for spring semester transfer, and I noticed that none of the schools I am applying to explicitly say that they want a mid-semester report (I am applying to Northwestern, Umich, Notre Dame, and Cornell as well as others). Am I missing something? My school also happens to not have official mid-semester grade reporting. Should I just individually request vouchers from my teachers and send them to schools? Should I even send a mid-semester grade report? I feel that it may be a double-edged blade, considering that a mid-semester report with good grades could potentially boost my chances and raise my academic legitimacy to adcoms (which I am lacking), but at the same time, a single B in a class could result in an overall harmful effect (Which is pretty likely; I'm confident that I can get an A by the end of the semester, but midsemester is a different story). How should I approach the situation?
