Do schools just look at the composite or everything?

i did significantly worse on science that all other sections...do colleges just look at your composite or do they look at every subject and judge them diffferently i.e reading and math more important?

mostly the composite, but i have seen some schools who say something like

30 composite with at least 27 in both english and math sections.

it be weird if u got a 30 composite and 26 or lower in 2 sections, would have to get extremely high in the others :P

i personally would say both. colleges want to see what scores you got per section sorta like the SAT with the verbal and math score. and they potentially could superscore you, so they have to look at all of them.

It depends upon the school. Some look at only the composite. Others look at subsections. For example, some will be interested in your science subsection if you want to apply for nursing or pharmacy. I am not saying that I agree with this, but that is what some schools do. If you applyto those same schools as an art history or foreign language major, they might not put much weight on that science subsection. In other words, you cannot answer this question with one answer for all schools, and all majors within a school.
