Do our schools know our SAT scores?

yes, but i dont know how...and it doesnt matter that much cuz the average is usually really low (like ~550 in all the sections, cr being a bit lower), so a decent score will not mess up the average

What do you mean by "our schools" -- high school? When you sign up for the SAT, part of the application asks for your high school info. Fill that in (which almost everyone does), or go through your high school to sign up for the SAT, and your school will receive your scores (and then majority of high schools will put all those scores on your official high school transcript that gets sent to colleges when you apply.

As to sending to colleges, if you fill in the portion of the application for the test asking for colleges to which scores should be sent, the College Board will automitcally send the scores to those. You can also order scores sent separately. But note that the College Board always sends all test scores it has for you whenever it is requested to send any score.

My high school gets a sheet of stickers with all of the SAT scores on them. My school takes these stickers and places them into our transcripts.
