When you apply for the fall semester, does the school see your 2nd semester grades? Some schools' websites say they take mid-term reports, but others don't so do those schools not look? And if they do, are those grades counted toward your gpa when they consider you?

As far as I know, you will always have to report those grades to the school even if you get accepted before the second semester is completed. Also, some schools may accept you, but with the contingency that you have to achieve a certain grade in that second semester.

Yea, Morrison is right. They ask for another copy of your transcript to see your grades from the semester in which you were applying.

But are those 2nd semester grades calculated toward your gpa when they consider you, because mine will be a borderline 3.0 before they see those

When’s the last day to submit final transcripts to USC for spring grades?

Those grades aren’t used when they make their decision of either an acceptance or rejection, however, they can rescind your admission if your grades are sub-par.

@johngo - the last day to send in grades was today, 6/30. They didn’t have to be in the form of final transcripts, however.
