Do schools send every student's info to UCs for ELC?

I’m worried that I might not quality for ELC since I have a relatively high UC GPA (4.1) when compared with my UW school GPA (3.5). Does my low UW GPA mean my high school won’t send my transcript to the ELC folks? Thanks.

Huh? ELC doesn't have to do with your UC gpa. Your school determines ELC by using their own ranking.

Do high schools send every student's stat for the ELC people to consider? Sorry, English is not my 1st language.

CA high schools send their top 12% to the UC system for ELC consideration. ELC is determined w/ all approved weighted classes (no cap). UC then determines who is the top 4% from that school taking the rigor of the curriculum into consideration.

Submission Information

It's basically like this...
The school gets the top 12.5% of your school (in terms of your weighted GPA rank not unweighted). Then, from there, over summer time, they see who is in the top 4% by recalculating the GPA.
