<p>Yes they do take part of the core, which includes University Writing, Contemporary Civilization Sequence/humanities sequence/2 global core courses, one from Contemporary music and Contemporary Art, physical ed two semesters, principles of econ and gateway lab
All in all you have to complete the 27-point non-technical electives requirement along with the math, science and engineering courses</p>
