Just wondering - my plan right now is to have 2 out of 3 of my AP classes to be senior year, and not sure if those classes will ever be noticed.

I have been wondering the same thing…To me they don’t really matter. I live in Texas and can get into any Texas school if I am in the top 8% of my class at the end of my junior year. Colleges usually will ask for a transcript of your senior grades so they will be seen.

colleges see your senior year schedule. They won’t see your AP scores until after decisions, but they will recognize that you’re taking a certain class.

not really imo

colleges dont ask they see what u send them and if u apply before second semester its mainly junior year stuff

Know that if you tank your senior year you can get rescinded…

In a few cases (like the one SadHippo) they are unimportant, but if you’re in that situation, you know it. Selective colleges will look at and consider what you take your senior year. Though I don’t think you should take APs you don’t care about just to take some APs.

They do matter. Colleges like to see a rigorous schedule senior year. If you lacked AP’s during junior year, senior year is a good time to take some.
