I'm taking the ACT during the summer before my junior year for dual credit eligibility in Calc BC...so i'm wondering if these score I get can be used for college admission? Are only junior and senior year act scores applicable? (Don't worry, my school pays for all the juniors to take the ACT in the spring every year, so I will be taking it again anyways).

yes

Wait, is it an actual ACT exam given by the ACT company?

yes

Any time you take the ACT after entering HS counts and is added to your score report. It can only be removed through cancellation, which is not relevant to your question.

Any high school scores can be used for college admissions (maybe scores from earlier, too—I’m not sure), and some colleges require you to send scores for all test scores. But if you get anything other than a 36 (or close) this year I’d recommend taking it again as a junior or senior.
