Do specific programs value some ACT scores over others?

I don't want this to turn into a chance me thread, so I will not post by GPA or extracurriculars, but I was wondering if certain colleges weight ACT scores differently based on the major/college you are entering.

For example, I got a 29 composite and am applying as an engineering major to UC Berkeley, Stanford, and Duke, among others. The score puts me in the upper half of the mid-50% range for Berkeley and slightly below the range for Stanford and Duke. My math ACT, on the other hand, was a 33, and my science ACT was a 32. Since engineering is mostly math and science, will they weight those stronger than my decent English score (29) and disappointing reading score (23... I am a slow reader :/)?

Any comments that could help me figure this out would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Bump. Still looking for help on this!
