someone recently said that the SAT/ACT scores will not matter and that college grades, essays and recs are the only things that do matter. I think that for a Freshman transfer, only one semester of grades will not be sufficient for them to base their decisions on. Plus why would they even require high school transcript and test scores if they dont consider them? any input in this regard will be appreciated.

i’m glad you brought this up I’m a bit worried about this too I’m transferring as a freshman for Fall 2010;
i had a 1050/1600 only time SATs end of sophomore year,no ACTS
I’m scheduled to retake the SATs,3 SAT 2 tests,and ACTS in December and January;
I have a 4.0 this semester and college resume is amazing but high school i had a low test score and a 3.54 GPA =/ thoughts?

^where are you transferring from?

Gannon University; its a small private catholic university not difficult to get into though about a 75% acceptance rate,average GPA 3.4 i believe

bumpppp ? =/…
