Do students call themselves Quakers

If I am applying to the school. If i go there, am I a quaker or is that only for sports. Like michigan, youre a wolverine if youre a student. So as a student at Penn, are you a Quaker.

And if you go to wharton, are you a whartonite? Are these the official terms that Penn actually recognizes or is it a student made up informal thing.

just read the dam threads(jk)

uhhh... yeah you get a stamp on your head that says QUAKER when you walk in. Its just nicknames dude its not like a social cast.

well i am going to use it in my essay, so im wondering what the proper term is

penn students are anything but proper

Yes, the Fighting Quaker (weird oxymoron) is the official mascot of Penn, so I'm sure you can use the term Quaker. And Wharton is the official name of the school of business, so I'm sure you can use the term Whartonite and they will know what you're talking about.

but as a caution, generally you'll want to refrain from colloquial diction like whartonite, as it is slang

uhh its not like a 9th grade langauges arts paper the essays are supposed to be representative of you. Great writers are usually frank

actually, I don't know one great writer named frank.

hahaha...........

thanks pandy
