Do subject tests cover same material as ap? Formulas for math II?

So I really need to know, do the SAT subject tests cover the same material as the AP exams? Is it college-level or high school material? If I haven't taken an AP science course, should I bother taking a science subject test?

And my second question, I briefly glanced over the Sparknotes key formulas for the Math II test, and by god there are a lot of them. Do we have to have all those memorized or are we given some?

Thanks for the help

Most SAT IIs cover the same material that is on the APs. At my school, they recommend taking the SAT II (if offered) for a subject if we are currently enrolled in an AP class for that same subject.

I can’t answer your Math II question since it’s been two years since I took that test, but I THINK we got some formulas.

Try googling “sat subject math formulas” or similar. You are given five formulas concerning volumes and areas of solids.
