I over heard a junior telling somebody on my floor that the ft dance/social is really fun. Do we really throw dances?

Yup! They have dances!

That’s cool, I only went prom in high school and didn’t have a great experience for a bunch of reasons so hopefully this will be fun

It should be, everyone dresses up to the occasion (either themed or formal) and you’ll go with your new awesome friends. Buses are provided to take you to the venue. I think dances generally range around 10-15 dollars.

Santa Catalina has “Club Catalina,” which is put on by your building’s RAs and Hall Councils. There’s usually one in the middle of the year and then one near the end. It’s free, and it’s typically in the Linda Vista room (the one between the towers).

There’s a semi-formal dance every Spring quarter, usually in May, and that’s the $10 dance Muserz is talking about. “All Hall Ball” is the only dance that RHA charges admission for. Other dorms will throw dances throughout the course of the year, but I would say that SC’s are easily the most popular out of them.

So it seems that as the possible next president of sc north I’ll be in charge of these

^and you are. . . who? :o

(I’m in south tower btw. )
