Do the McGraw Hill books work?

I just recently bought the McGraw Hill (5 steps to a 5 ) AP prep books for:
-AP psychology
-AP AB/BC Calc
-AP US Gov
-AP Bio

I was wondering if these books prepare you for the AP tests enough to get all 5's. I chose them because they have nice layouts, study plans, and lots of practice tests and test tips

I also hav Barron's for AP Spanish as well as my SAT subject test prep books and am wondering how Barron's compares to McGraw.

Has anyone used these McGraw Hill: 5 Steps to a 5 books and successfully recieved 4's or 5's? Feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks alot! :)

Feedback on this would be very useful! I would like to know before I write in the books, so I can return&replace them in a timely manner. Thanks

I personally prefer barrons or pr just because the study plans are honestly useless everyone studies differently and i like how the barrons and pr books lay out information but its really only about preference. barrons’ information is a little more substantial though and if you don’t mind reading a lot i recommend it.

@wynter: besides structure then, is there material that I am missing out in by only using McGraw Hill?

I used McGraw Hill’s 5 steps to a 5 for bio and got a 5 on the AP, 800 on the SAT.

(I also used the brand for World, Chem, and APUSH. Sorry that I haven’t taken calc, gov, or psychology.)

they have a pretty horrible reputation at my school

the best books to get is a princeton book and a barrons one for each AP
and an additional crash course one for any history AP course
