I know Princeton does, but what about these?
Michigan State
Wisconsin-Madison
Vassar
Grinnell
Boston College
College of William and MAry
Georgetown
Northwestern
Johns Hopkins

Thanks!

EDIT: What I mean by in general, is the ones that don't except the common app :)

I know that at least Northwestern does.

Its so simple to look this information up on the internet. Just google and stop being so lazy.

lol Sorry, I just didn’t want to download some of the app files, I guess. :P

Georgetown University doesn’t use the common app. It requires two essays and it’s unlikely that your common app essay will be able to fulfill the requirements of either.

Oh, I had assumed they did. Thanks for telling me!!

Not to pile on, but would you just accept an answer provided by a CCer without checking with the college yourself? I wouldn’t think to ask a factual question to this board, because I would prefer to go to the source.

This board works best for subjective questions.

I know BC, Grinnell, Michigan and UW Madison all require some sort of supplement - they’re usually shorter paragraphs though, and I wouldn’t really count them as an essay. But for all intents and purposes, yes.

@netthreat - I don’t think anyone would falsely represent a fact just for kicks on CC. I sometimes give information that I’m not completely sure of, but I always add a warning if I am unsure.

Oh, and here’s the forms for Georgetown:
[Georgetown University- Office of Undergraduate Admissions](http://uadmissions.georgetown.edu/applying_firstyear_forms.cfm)

You can either mail them in or submit them online

I think there’s a Why Vassar? supplement essay.
