Do these count as EC's? Or something else?

<p>I know an extra curricular is anything that is done outside of school. The school district in which I go to school offers optional AP Classes that take place on Saturdays, they are from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM and last for about 12 weeks. The grades from these classes go on our transcripts.</p>

<p>I'm thinking these don't really count as EC's, but I'm also thinking that they count for something. Any help is appreciated!</p>

<p>They count on your transcript. Explain that you went above and beyond the norm by taking extra classes in your Additional Information section, or have your guidance counselor do it in his/her recommendation.</p>
