Do these test scores balance each other out?

I wondering whether I should send both my ACT and SAT scores. The difference in section scores make me wonder if the college will see that I am a balanced student or an inconsistent one.

ACT: 33 English, 29 Math, 35 Reading, 24 Science: Composite is 30
SAT: 770 Math, 650 Reading, 580 Writing (1420/2000)

I did very well in math on SAT and very well on reading on the ACT. But not both. What do you think a college will see in the difference of scores?

My number one choice is CMU by the way.

Some schools now superscore a combination of the SAT/ACT. There is a list here on CC.

I think most schools know it’s just a test and are more amused at the inaccuracy of the tests than the student being inconsistent.
