Hey, I got in ED to Colorado College and the aid was good.
http://www.coloradocollege.edu/dean/oir/documents/CDS2009_2010.xls Check this out. The average aid for internationals is $44,000 and the tuition is only around $39,000… I think thats fantastic aid. However, Im sure that it is really really competitive. Btw, wat do u mean by full FA, living+food+tuitions or only tuition fees? As for the others, I think they will provide similar aid. not sure though.

Mac provides full aid. In fact, it is known for being verrry generous. It’s one of the reasons why it has a large int’l population. Bear in mind, it’s very cold in Minn though. Anyway, from what I hear, the whole of America is freezing atm.

The schools on the OP’s list are all LACs. Many selective LACs do provide very high average aid packages to accepted international students. These averages are contained in the “Common Data Set” documents (which you can Google and download from many college sites). The following site also is helpful:

[Top 25 Financial Aid Colleges in US for International Students (Need-aware) - Desperate Guide: Undergraduate College Financial Aid, Scholarship](http://www.desperateguide.com/us/top-25-financial-aid-colleges-in-us-for-international-students-need-aware)

However, according to information on the same site, only 6 US schools are both need-blind and meet 100% of need to internations. All 6 are extremely selective.

^ You can add Cornell to list of need-blind colleges! :D

Wait, let me add Harvard & MIT too. :)

^ hmmmmm. Those are already in the list.

^^^ Cornell is NOT NEED-BLIND for internationals.

Yeah i second that Cornell is not need blind to internationals

Of course it is need-blind. They are living upto Ezra Cornell’s vision! And Ani, didn’t you APPLY to Cornell? :|

Cornell is 100% need blind to internationals. It says so on the application form itself as well as on websites.

Well I had the same confusion at the time of applying ED to Cornell. I called up the admissions office and they told me that Cornell is not need-blind for internationals.
Screw Ezra’s vision. I’d know. They offer need-based financial aid to internationals.

I had the same confusion sometime in July or something. I mailed Gary and Quasi and this is what they said:

Cornell is NOT need-blind and it is very competitive to get into.

Quasi September 2, 2010 at 12:50am
Cornell isn’t need-blind for international students, which means they only accept a few internationals ESPECIALLY Indians who need financial aid.

So yeah.

And as far as I remember they did ask me in the application form whether I would require need-based financial aid or not.

Oh and Wikipedia obviously cannot go wrong about this-

But I could be wrong, man. :|

Oh damn!
