Do they 0 Essays often?

<p>Do they really throw around the zeroes or do they reserve them for really off-topic essays? Mine was about planning and creativity. I wrote about when my family went on a vacation and my parents had been previously conned into buying tickets to crummy amusement parks but didn't want to throw them out and get tickets to better parks, thus rigidly sticking to the plan, which was a disaster.</p>

<p>no problem there, as long as you relate it back to the prompt. </p>

<p>I, in my experience, have never seen anyone get a 0 on an essay before. I’d say it’s pretty rare :)</p>

<p>oh, and i guess the scale is 2-12. That means a score of 0 is impossible.</p>

<p>You receive a zero for ‘off-topic’ essays. Also for essays in ink and blank essays. A score of zero is for the technical stuff.</p>

<p>You won’t score a zero if your examples don’t support your argument as long as you relate them back in some way (You may get a lower score). Its to keep people from planning an essay months before the test and then* writing that essay regardless of the topic.</p>
