Do they check your GPA right when you apply or your GPA after your fall semester?

<p>I'm planning to transfer out for Fall 2011. Do UC's base your acceptance on your GPA right when you apply? (which would be November for me) or do they check after the fall semester is done? Do they check your GPA after the spring semester (Spring '11)? My GPA is currently a 3.03 which I'm really freaking out about, but I'm taking 19 units right now at a CC hoping that would boost my GPA this semester because I am pretty positive I could get all A's in my classes right now.. Please help me!</p>

<p>So what I'm basically is saying that.. if they don't look at my GPA after this semester, am I pretty much screwed with such a low GPA?</p>

<p>After. Around January of 2011, you will be asked to send in an update to your admissions forms containing your grades from the last semester and your current classes for the spring semester. They will look at all of your transferable grades up to and including Fall’s.</p>
