<p>Cause I totally f**ked up the CR section today. Not trying to make excuses but from my point of view the CR sections today were unprecedentedly hard. I heard somebody keep talking about the curve but I don't recall the College Board has any curving policies for reasoning tests.</p>
<p>No, they don't have curves. They have a two step process.
1. Determine the strength of this group of test-takers compared to others. This is called "equating."
2. Compare the difficulty of this test form compared to the others.
3. Then they develop a raw score to scale relationship so that a student who earns a 2200 on this test form would have an equal probability of earning a 2200 on any other form given any other time.</p>
<p>I guess it's really a three step process, though steps one and two are probably a single step.</p>
