Do they matter to Stanford?

I applied SCEA, but I had not taken my Subject Tests yet. I indicated on my CommonApp that I planned to do so in November. I just got my scores and they are getting sent to Stanford. Will they use them at all even though it is November?

Spanish w/ Listening: 800
US History: 800

I think that if you send them now, there is a small chance they will see them before reviewing your app. But if they already have done that, it won't make a difference.

Remember that officially the last date to take tests for Stanford SCEA is Oct :)

Yeah, I knew October was the last date. I just made the decision to apply EA last minute. I hope they get to them, though. It takes them about four days to process sent scores...

stanford will not decide on your admissions until everything is in, that includes sat iis, so you are in luck; they will wait

yeah, but SATIIs are not required at Stanford. so why would they wait for them?

uh yes they are....

st.aegis: no, they are not.

i met a guy at stanford when i spent an overnight who never took one SAT II and he got in...he said he had to decide between taking the sat I a second time to raise his scores or taking sat IIs. he was not a recruited athlete, or a legacy or URM. and he got in. he was just really involved in school, president of lots of music clubs and a talanted musician.

wow st. aegis. read stanford's website.

^lol yeah it's not required. and on the application itself you have to sign and say that you give stanford the right to make a decision even if all parts of the application are not in their hands.

Do you guys think that if they get them in the next couple days they will be included? Collegeboard emailed the results today.

i swear they mentioned they required 2 sat iis

lol who's they?

edit: they recommend math2c but not required :p

There is no requirement for Subject Tests. Also, on the FAQ, it said that they don't assure that scores sent after deadlines will be considered. But, if they get them in time, they will.

well they could decide without them too, so you are cutting a thin line
