Do they really ignore Writing?

<p>i just got my October 08 scores back and my final overall results are</p>

<p>CR 640
Math 720
Writing 800 (e = 10)
Overall 2160</p>

<p>However, some of the schools i'm most interested in (Georgetown, Chicago, William & Mary) say they don't look at Writing. Is this really true, because it would be such a waste lol</p>

<p>Yeah I have the same deal… 780 M, 800 CR, but 690 W</p>

<p>Yes, if they say they don’t consider writing, they will not do so. Those are among the schools which are waiting a few years of statistical development with the writing section to determine if and whether they will use the writing section.</p>
