I'm thinking about transferring to UT as a 2nd year next year, and at the end of this semester, Ill have a 3.8 or 4.0; however, my A's are in the low 90s.

Do they recalculate your GPA when considering your admission? Since they do that bs +/- scale, I would have like a 3.6 and that would definitely hurt my chances for the business school...

Does the school you go to currently operate under a +/- system? If not, there is no way they can convert it, because when you submit your transcripts it will just be a single letter grade, so they would be the same point values you have now. I’m not sure if they recalculate even if they are on a +/- system, I thought it was only for grades once you were at UT, but you could call and ask.

No, they are not going to recalculate your GPA with the +/- scale. They have a transcript, not a detailed listing of all your grades. If you transfer with a 4.0 or 3.8, that is what they will evaluate you by.
