Do they see FCAT Scores?

Do they see FCAT Scores and if they do from what grades? I somehow got 2 4's on Reading and Math FCAT from 10th? I just got these scores back? Both were extremely high fours, especially math I missed it literally by one question. I know they probably will see the number only? I'm kinda mad over the scores....... I thought I got 5's easily.. I was barely trying because I though it was so easy. I really wish I tried harder, and I hope they don't see these scores.
Yes, I know SAT's matter the most blah blah, but do they look at your FCAT scores at all?

no (10chars)

lol no FCAT’s a joke. its not a consideration at all.

Haha good, my friend is convincing me they do.

its on your transcript but it tests the exact same thing as the SAT, but on a lower level. there is no reason for them to take it into account, and i’ve never heard of it as being a consideration.

Do they see all grades? Because somehow I got a 3 on reading in 9th because I skipped a question towards middle-end and ruined a bunch of questions, and my teacher wouldn’t let me fix my mistake, since she’s not allowed to give back tests. I noticed the mistake like 5 mins before time was up because I ran out of bubbles on the last question lol so in 9th I got a 3…
I got 5’s before I’m just saying I’m kinda mad over my recent scores … the high four’s I got this year, since they were soooo close to being a 5.

So your saying as long as you passed they really don’t care?

as long as you graduated no one cares at all.

Good, my friend was trying to mess with me since I’m already looking into colleges lol.

Yes! This makes me so happy.
I heard of a scandal in 2010 about FCAT scores being messed up and some students getting inaccurate results. Anyways, whatever the case may be, I got a 3 in writing. This truly perplexes me after seeing my less academically-driven friends with results of a 6. I’ve actually looked into it and my school last year had 12 students receive a 6 in their writing FCAT, this year we have 42 students that are going up on ‘the wall of 6’s’.
It just all seems a little too coincidental to say I bombed the writing test while my other C/B average friends aced it on the same year of the result mix-up scandal (which I never followed up on to see if it was true).

Judging from how many kids they’ve got to admit/keep track of at UF, I would say that you really needn’t worry too much that they’ll see too much beyond your SAT score… It’s unfortunate to say, but schools that admit 6k kids, generally with about 1 month or so turnaround (because the materials deadline is Dec 31 and the general notification date is ± Feb 12, I believe), so bear that in mind though. If you really want to go to UF, you need to make sure, more than anything else, your SATs/ACTs are absolutely superb.

But, on the bright side, that quick reading will make sure that all the blemishes like your FCAT score, since as a poster above said is printed on your transcript, probably won’t even be noted by them remotely.
