accordin to my friends and counselor, i'm an overachiever. i take 5 aps that are the hardest considered in my school and dedicate lots of time to my ecs. do u guys find time to exercise? i usually get to home round 6 and i hav 5 to 7 hrs of hw everyday. i used to run but now i'm tempted to just eat healthy and giv up on exercise...how d u guys find the time to exercise? this is quite hard for me since i dont do any ec involving sports.

I take 5 APs & do ECs…I try to run 20-30 miles a week or walk at least 1hr/day except when I have a bunch of tests the next day

A limit shouldn’t be put on potential so i therefore no not the meaning of overachieving.

Profound?

Five to seven hours of HW? That’s way too much. How do you have that much HW?

I run XC and track as an EC, so that’s where I get my exercise. I also get home around six, but I usually only have one or two hours of HW (3 AP’s, two honors).

I should probably mention half of that exercise si from track, but during the off seasons I still do keep it up

I get it done through sports mostly. This winter I snowboard 5 days a week, play baseball 1-2 days a week and work out 2-3 days fri-sun.

i find myself studying everyday. Wii Sports and going home from school are the only exercise for me.

I don’t understand the big deal about exercising. I personally never exercise, but I’d consider myself “fit” by my standards (BMI). Yet, my parents still perturb me daily to exercise. I’m not very athletic. And exercising can get fairly boring.

I walk to class.

Oh

Fun Fact: 33% of the U.S population exercise daily are of regular weight. 66% of the U.S population do not exercise daily and are overweight. 1% of the population does not exercise daily and are of perfect weight.

I don’t exercise daily and my BMI is perfect (talk about selectivity)

People need to realize that being fit and skinny are two completely different things.

I run 24 miles a week

5 APs one honors

What do you mean of perfect weight? Having a BMI of normal range?

Yeah, fightchoke. I’m skinny but not fit. :D

I dance like 4 days a week and ski in the winter. I stretch for about 30 mins-an hour/day. If/when I want to lose weight, I just eat 400 cals a day for a few weeks.

orly? Okay I’m slim not fit then. w/e, exercising isn’t very crucial right now. Maybe when I get older.

Exercising isn’t crucial now? Haha ok you go think that now.

@fuzzle. I’m no sure how big emorys campus is or how far your classes are but I hear walking from class to class in college (usually) is sufficient exercise for the average person. YAY CARDIO!

i exercise (and am not an overachiever) but for those of you who are overachievers, you should AT LEAST try to keep your diet in check if you don’t have time to workout.

Yeah, that’s what i meant^^…didn’t mean to throw perfect out there like that. lol!!

Well, idk not like I have enough time. Plus, it’s boring. I think a somewhat reasonable diet is ample. And, at my weight I’d want to build muscle mass, which also seems kind of time consuming. There’s always later.

Yes! I love excercising! =)

I like taking morning runns before i take my mornin’ shower. Especially during the summer! However I can only take my runs on weekends now because of school, I have to stick to push ups, sit ups, n pull ups in my basement (no sun!)
