That is in no way healthy

It’s pretty big. I probably walk at least 30 minutes a day going to class.

for guys- these are our prime years to gain muscle as our testosterone levels are so high… it’s like natural steroids. Just lift 3 times a week (do compounds) and i promise you that if you care somewhat about your diet that you’ll see great gains!

Used to play 12 hours badminton, 10 hours of swim per week.

^As the name implies…ouch! tiresome much?

I don’t like guys with lots of muscle.

Then again… the new guy I’m kinda seeing has ripped biceps and goes to the gym a lot.

Nevermind.

I don’t like guys with a lot of muscle. I typically like a pretty lean guy.

I think football player build is DISGUSTING. Eww.

But having some muscle is okay, just as long as they’re still rather thin.

^Lol, agreed about football player builds. Cross-country/track runners are pretty ideal actually.

Ewww football player build…that is…yuck, muscle is good but not THAT much!

cross-country/track/baseball/soccer

I do stuff in my head when I hike.

No overachievers do not have time to exercise they are too busy working on their USABO projects (meadow36).

i wouldnt exactly call myself an overachiever but…

im really bad about exercise. i mean… really bad. but im trying to change that. my mom has been pushing me, and im really glad that she put up with my stubborn self. =D we have to get fit before college, no way am i gonna hit the freshman 15.

i put signed up for weight training second semester cause i needed pe credit, so theres no real way to get out of that one [our teacher checks our heart rate monitors after each period… so i couldnt really cheat myself cause i want a good gpa]

i also am a part of the cross country team. even though… i usually come last… whatever… i need the workout. and my teacher is super supportive.

and lastly, ive started going to the gym on my own and with a friend. its nice to have someone push you! =D

its not so bad once you workout. i actually like the after effect. its just getting there takes lots of pushing and shoving.

Overachievers by definition should have ample exercise. I take 5 APs and play 3 Varsity sports.

I’m in 2 aps and the rest are honors. I do track both seasons. But next year is going to be hell;5 aps and still doing track. Oh plus i have other ec’s. I have about 5 hours of hw. But usually i try to do some of them during lunch. Can’t wait to high school is over…

Doing an excess of studying without any exercise would burn you out quickly.

I run varsity, both spring and winter seasons, as a sprinter. During the off-season, I hit the weight room four times a week.

Overachievers, if they are overachievers, should overachieve in every way, and that includes fitness. That is my take on it.

In any case, studies find that in general (ignoring the best athletes and the best scholars), kids that play sports do better academically.

Ugh. I don’t find time, time finds ME.

Tennis is an EC for me, so…it’s not like I really have a choice lol. :/

I like sleep too much to play sports.

^Haha same.

Debate + academics + 10pm bedtime = no exercise. I generally watch what I eat… except for right now, as I polish off a jar of Nutella. Mmmmm.
