As the title says, do UC’s accept online courses? The courses I want to take is ECON 1 and ECON 2, are they transferable to all UC campuses if my local community college say the courses them self are transferable?
Thank you.

At your local community college, an online course is no different than an on campus class.
If the course number is the same (which they usually are), your transcript will provide no evidence whether a class is online or not and as such, the school you apply to will have no idea.
@briank82 Okay thanks, was just making sure because I was also applying to USC, and they don’t accept online courses.
Ah weird. Even still USC would have no way of knowing unless it was just based on the honor system or unless they actually request each section number for each class and then check them all … but that doesn’t sound very reasonable. I hadn’t heard that about USC though so that’s really interesting.
Hu? When I applied to SC a couple years ago, I had a handful of online courses and I was admitted. It might be a lab course or something. Unless they’ve recently changed that rule, but not sure how they will know if its an online course. Since, it doesn’t say it is an online course on your transcripts.
