Do UC School look at Second Year Grades

Hi

I'm trying to transfer into UCLA's Business Econ major from a ccc. My first semester I got a 3.0 GPA and I'm currently on my Second Semester (I'll probably get a 3.8). My plan is to get a 4.0 for both semesters next year, but you apply in the fall. So I was wondering if they even get a chance to look at the second year's grades. (Haven't got any C's just B's) - I will be at an average of 3.4 this year.

Any idea what chance I have for UCLA?
I'm taking the required honors classes for TAP.
I'm also the Vice President of my cc's Business Club and will be the President either next semester or the one after (its a decent sized club 40 + members).
I'm only 18, went to a community college directly from High School.

Not employed, going to China and Japan over the summer to finish learning both Chinese and Japanese.

Working on my own business online (one of the reasons I'm not employed)... should I put that in my resume? Its no where complete or successful yet.

Thanks

They will see your summer, fall, and winter session grades, but not your spring grades. So I would HIGHLY recommend taking summer and winter sessions to raise your GPA. The shorter sessions are easier!

they’ll eventually see your spring grades, but it won’t count towards GPA.

They’ll see all of your first year and later when you submit your application, you’ll have to update your grades for each you applied to with your fall and winter intercession.

Should take summer courses, they’re only eight weeks…no brainer!

Best of luck next year! [:
