UC’s only use 10-11th grades for the a-g courses taken during this time.
If you are a California resident, you need a minimum 3.0 UC Capped weighted GPA to apply. If you are OOS or International, you need a 3.4 Capped Weighted UC to apply.
Just note that at either minimum, your chances are very low for any of the UC’s.
Also looking back at the other posts, you have posted a UC GPA of 4.0 which I assume is the capped weighted?

What about international students?
Just looked at your other threads…UCs are probably not going to be affordable for you based on your stated budget of $120,000 total for four years…UCs don’t generally offer international students any financial aid.
For International and OOS applicants, the UC GPA is calculated the same way other than High school designated Honors classes are not weighted. Only AP or IB courses taken 10-11th grades are weighted.
If International students do not have the same GPA scale, UC admissions are able to determine their GPA based on the countries curriculum.
@Rishon: On another post, you mentioned affordability of the UC’s. Has this changed that you are able to pay full fees at $65K/year to attend as noted in the above post?
Agree it would be a waste of application fees if these schools are not affordable.
Yes it has in fact, I was able to get a few scholarships and loans at low interest rates…

9th grade course grades are not included in UC recalculated GPAs, but are visible to admission readers. But note that the courses must be completed with C or higher grades to be able to count toward fulfilling a-g subject requirements.
Aren’t they only for sophmore and junior year though?
A-G course requirements are taken 9-12th grades and you report 9-11th grades on your UC application. You must meet the 15 minimum a-g course requirements including 12th grade courses to even apply at the UC’s, but to be a competitive applicant most will take far more above and beyond the minimums at 20+ courses.
UC GPA’s are calculated using 10-11th grades for the a-g course requirements.
So did you pass all a-g courses Freshman year? If so, you should be fine in meeting the requirements.

History/Social Science 2 years
Two years, including one year of world history, cultures, and historical geography and one year of U.S. history or one-half year of U.S. history and one-half year of civics or American government.
(B)
English 4 years
Four years of college preparatory English that includes frequent and regular writing, and reading of classic and modern literature. Only one year of English Language Development (ELD) 4 counts toward this requirement.

Three years of college preparatory mathematics that includes the topics covered in elementary and advanced algebra, and two- and three- dimensional geometry.

In my HS we cant choose any courses, we have four years of Physics, Chemistry, Math and English. Two years of History, CS, Geography, French and Art. This is according to the ICSE syllabus.
All your Courses seem to cover all the a-g course requirements. Having 2 years of French is not ideal but if you cannot take another year due to the ICSE syllabus limitations, that will be taken into consideration.
You will be evaluated based on what is offered at your HS.
