I am in my junior year right now and during my freshman year I got a D in health. Would the UC's take this?

It says on the UC website that if you are a California resident you need at least a 3.0 with nothing below a C in the A-G classes. However, I’m not sure if health is part of the A-G. It probably is. You should read this website. http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/freshman/requirements/

You should still have a chance. Looking at the website it just seems you need a C or better in all the required classes, Health not included

And does it also say that UC looks at your 10th and 11th grade high school record (not at your 9th)? Be happy! :)

Oh, and don’t do that again! You had your chance.

Wait, UCs don’t look at freshman year? WHAT?

Well, they LOOK at all of it, it just doesn’t all go into your GPA calculation. Bonus: They are looking for an upward trend. Starting from a ‘D’ gives you some runway to improve. :)

Are you in-state for UCs?

That’s a huge boost for me. Thanks man

@Kawaiiii, you just burned that match, you may not have many more. Be thankful and don’t do it again! :)
